Volunteering in Mole Valley through the Mole Valley Volunteer Centre can help you start making a difference, and volunteering is something that everyone can do – whatever your interests, wherever you live or whether you have a lot or a little time to give. You will have the satisfaction and achievement of making a real difference helping charities and community groups.
Some of the ways you can help make a difference:
- Helping local community projects
- Spending time mentoring or befriending a vulnerable person
- Working outdoors to improve the environment
- Caring for animals and wildlife
- Assisting with local sporting activities
- Helping an organisation with administration, finance, or as a committee member
Not only will you be making a difference in the community, volunteering can also provide many benefits, including making new friends and contacts, having fun trying something new, increasing confidence, and increasing job and career prospects with new skills.
Volunteer Centre Mole Valley based at The Point, Dorking, will help you to discover more about the wide range of opportunities and are happy to meet with potential volunteers in a friendly and welcoming environment. We will assist you in narrowing down your volunteering choices, working out what is important to you and where you would like to offer your time. We can then put you in touch with suitable organisations.
