Volunteer Oral History Interviewers Needed
Keeping Us in Mind Project on the history of Epsom’s psychiatric hospitals. We are currently seeking volunteers to conduct and summarise interviews for our Heritage Lottery Fund supported project, recording the stories of people who worked in Epsom’s cluster of psychiatric and learning disability hospitals
Festival Elves Needed
We need to produce decorations for and then dress a vintage family festival on 2nd July. We also need help to promote it by having fun with the public at other events. And we will require help at the event itself. Setting up, making sure the festival runs smoothly, dealing with lost kids, restocking toilet roll, washing up, serving refreshments etc
Stay and Play Volunteer Needed
This busy and thriving Children’s Centre is looking for volunteers to support our staff running Stay and Play sessions. The role will include welcoming new parents and playing with children in a way that supports their learning, as well as helping prepare snacks, keeping equipment clean and tidy and tidying up the room at the end of each session.
Kites Social Club Volunteers
We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic volunteers to join our friendly team who provide a range of fun activities for people with learning disabilities at our weekly Social Club.
We are looking for a receptionist on Tuesday or Friday mornings to provide a friendly welcome to people visiting the the centre in Leatherhead.
Befriending – Telephone Friend
In the UK, more than 1 million people aged over 65 say they often or always feels lonely.This is a volunteer role that you can do from home or from work. All you need is access to a telephone and the internet.
